Military Building Anatolian Eagle

I could not have guessed during its construction that a movie would be shot in the future.
It is the first project I signed officially as a civil engineer in 2001.
We knew that fighter pilots from many countries would come and conduct combat exercises in this facility.
The entire construction was completed in 58 days, working 24 hours a day. It was finished in an incredible amount of time.
There are 5 separate blocks in the facility. The block in the middle is the main building, where the entire war exercise can be watched one-on-one.
The most critical technical issue in this project is that half of the land of the facility is filled with landfill and there are 2 m deep galleries underneath that connect all the facilities.
It is unquestionable that great care should be taken in backfilling projects and all necessary ground improvements should be made.
I think the participation of the Turkish Air Force Commander, Base Commander and senior officers on the opening day and their excitement and satisfaction while touring the facility were worth all our tiredness.
